Hi, my name is Candace and allow me to welcome to Conscious Kitchen!
Conscious Kitchen is a small, full-circle catering and ancestral food education business based out of my urban homestead, Conscious Homestead, in Winooski Vermont.
My experience in the world of food is extensive with my background as a chef, urban homesteader, organic market produce manager, holistic health coach and food educator.
It's of deep importance to me, and those I serve, to use sustainable and socially responsible practices that center decolonizing our relationship to the land and one another.
I believe that our wholeness is directly connected to the wholeness of our planet and collective.
Right relationship with the land is a sacred contract that grounds how I approach the land for both nourishment and sustenance in the meals I prepare and classes I teach about food.
Food connects us.
Whether you are gluten free, vegan, paleo, raw; we all gotta eat. With years of experience in cooking food for folks with various dietary needs and food allergens, you can trust that no matter the need, I am here to co-create an inclusive food experience for you and/or your group.
