Care Packages
Each season, Conscious Homestead Botanica sends FREE care packages to BIPOC across the country. Each season's care package honors a specific theme and contains products made by Candace from Conscious Homestead and a BIPOC maker; like House of Lukaya's hand rolled incense or Juniper Creative's Sacred Love Tea. Care packages are sponsored by both Candace and allies who contribute to cover the costs of supplies for products, shipping materials and postage.
September 2020's care packages contained:

The theme of this care package was to gift my fellow BIPOC small batch medicinals that support our immune systems, sleep/rest & dreams, nervous system as well as heart ache & grief. We are all holding a lot; may these medicines gift you with deep loving support and guidance.

The theme of this care package is to gift my fellow BIPOC small batch medicinals & body products to encourage a deep practice of self love. Tending to the skin, our largest organ, with love infused skin products that cultivate a personal ritual of self care and self love. Sweet Love or Warrior Heart Elixir and Sacred Love Tea blend both are made of plant medicines that nurture our hearts and root us in the truth that we are embodiments of divine love.

The theme of this care package is to gift my fellow BIPOC small batch products to encourage sweetness and cultivate wholeness. Tending to the skin with the Elements of Beauty's sugar scrub, shedding what needs to be released and allowing the skin to refresh and regenerate. Protection Smudge Spray offers you and your space sacred protection and grounding. Earthen Heart Tea connects you to the earth, offers cozy and uplifting support and ritual. Elderberry Syrup is a super delicious medicinal that is packed with potent medicine to fortify your body's immune system. Couple that with the new, unreleased Mycellium Sky tincture, a blend of chaga, Reishi and milky oats and your body will have a team of plant kins having you back and assuring your health and wholeness is divinely tended to.

Each season Candace, owner of Conscious Homestead Botanica, organizes to offer BIPOC Care Packages containing small-batch medicinals and products at ZERO cost to BIPOC.
In September 2020, the inaugural round; Autumn BIPOC Care Packages were sent to 65 people at ZERO cost the them. 30 packages were sponsored by Candace and 35 were sponsored by the contributions from white allies.
In December 2020, the second round; Winter BIPOC Care Packages will be sent out. We will be able to send 110 care packages in December.
Currently we are raising funds to sponsor March's Spring BIPOC Care Packages.
Our care packages are not only for BIPOC but its contents are made by BIPOC; centering BIPOC healers, leaders, herbalists, land stewards and creatives.
Here is where you can sponsor care packages for BIPOC healing and wholeness. Select from the options outlined which cover the total costs for the making and distribution of each care package.
Understand that when you sponsor a care package you are NOT sponsoring a care package for someone you know. This is meant to be an act of community care and mutual aid for BIPOC. So, when you sign up to sponsor a care package you are paying for a care package for a BIPOC. Please make sure when you sponsor a care package you fill out your contact information accurately.
If you want a BIPOC friend to receive a care package all you need to do is inform them about the care package sign-ups. Know that care packages do sell out on a first come, first serve basis. As more sponsorships come in I add more care packages to the inventory list and I update folks on my Instagram wall & stories (@conscioushomestead) so they are aware more care packages are available for order.

This seasonal love filled offering is for BIPOC only. Signing up for this is an acknowledgement that you identify as Black, Indigenous, Person/People of Color (BIPOC). If you do NOT identify as BIPOC you can sponsor/contribute to a care package(s) for BIPOC via the Sponsor a Care Package listing.

When you fill out your shopping cart you will have a chance to choose between alcohol based or non-alcohol based tinctures. Please make sure all information is entered correctly for shipping and contact information. (Any typos will impede shipping care packages.)
Care packages do sell out if the number of sponsored packages are sold out. As more sponsorships come in I add more care packages to the inventory list and I update folks on my Instagram (@conscioushomestead) wall & stories so they are aware more care packages are available for order. I update this manually during the day; if more sponsorships come in late night I will update the next day when I am wake up. Thanks for your patience.
